Description

Saturated royal blue dominates the field, broken continuously by a speckled scatter of cool silver-grey, warm oak-tan, and bright white fragments that interrupt the blue without displacing it. No border contains the pattern. The speckle distributes across the entire surface at varying density, thickening into grey passages and thinning back into open blue.

Does the intensity of the royal blue hold over years of regular use?

Wool dyes in hand-knotted rugs are set at the fiber level and do not fade quickly under normal indoor conditions. Keeping the rug away from prolonged direct sunlight and rotating annually preserves color depth across the surface evenly.

What size works for a room with a large sectional sofa and a low coffee table?

The 9x12 accommodates a standard three-seat sofa with front legs on the rug and a low coffee table centered above it. For a full sectional arrangement, the 10x14 provides better coverage and lets the pattern read as a complete field rather than a cropped section.

Does a wool and silk rug require different care than an all-wool rug?
