Description

Large triangular forms in deep charcoal-navy tile across a pale ice-blue and cream ground in a continuous all-over pattern. Each triangle carries a stippled, eroded interior rather than a solid fill, with warm sand-beige and blush-pink breaking through the dark surface. The triangles interlock without gaps, covering the field from edge to edge with no open ground between them.

Does the all-over triangular pattern have a directional quality that affects how it should be oriented in a room?

The triangular grid runs diagonally across the field rather than orthogonally, which gives it a mild directional quality. Orienting the rug so the diagonal runs from the entry corner toward the primary seating gives the pattern its most dynamic reading from a standing position. Rotating for wear should reverse this orientation rather than shifting it 90 degrees.

How does the charcoal-navy and cream palette work in a room with warm orange velvet and dark walnut panelling?
