Description

A fine grid of off-white lines divides a charcoal and dark grey blended ground into small, near-equal cells across the entire field. The grid does not sit on top of the surface; it runs through it. The blended fibre construction means adjacent cells vary slightly in tone and texture, so the charcoal ground shifts between dark slate and near-black from one interval to the next without any formal pattern organizing those shifts.

The grid pattern is very fine and regular. Does the blended fibre construction affect how crisp the off-white lines read?

The blended fibre surface introduces slight variation in how the off-white grid lines sit against the dark ground, so they read with a subtly organic quality rather than as perfectly uniform printed lines. From a normal viewing distance the grid reads clearly and with good contrast. Up close the variation within the dark cells becomes more apparent.

This is a dark, grid-heavy design. What room contexts suit it best?

The design performs best in rooms with architectural confidence: dark timber flooring, concrete or stone walls, or rooms where pale upholstery and light walls provide tonal contrast. The 9x12 and 10x14 give the grid enough field to read as a surface composition rather than a dense texture. Avoid pairing with heavily patterned upholstery.
