Description

A cool silver-grey field carries a large-scale diamond lattice structure, each lozenge filled with oversized botanical forms in warm honey-gold, camel-tan, and walnut-brown. Powder-blue pools inside several of the diamond compartments, shifting the interior tone between warm and cool. The ivory-parchment border runs a dense geometric scroll that holds the expansive field in check. The red you see in the field is not one red. It is seven dye lots, each pulled at a slightly different hour from the same copper vat,the variation lives only in the wool, never in the recipe.

The diamond lattice is a large-scale structure. How does this design read in a room versus in a product photograph?

In a room, the lattice reads as a series of connected zones rather than a tight geometric grid. The soft drawing of the lattice lines and the botanical fill inside each diamond give the field a painterly quality at a distance. The overall effect is warm and layered rather than formal or structured.

What is the best size for a living room, and does the diamond pattern work with all furniture arrangements?

The 10x14 gives the diamond lattice the most complete reading, with at least two full diamond rows visible on each axis. A standard seating arrangement with front legs on the rug works well. Avoid placing furniture so that it bisects a single diamond, as this cuts the interior motif in half and interrupts the compartment logic.
