The red you see in the field is not one red. It is seven dye lots, each pulled at a slightly different hour from the same copper vat,the variation lives only in the wool, never in the recipe.

How well does a deep red wool rug hold its colour in a room with regular use?

Hand-knotted wool takes dye deeply into the fiber, so brick-red and navy tones at this saturation remain stable under regular foot traffic and low-suction vacuuming. Colour loss is minimal when the rug is kept from sustained direct sunlight and rotated annually.
