Description

Navy and near-black run in strong vertical bands across a mid-grey and steel-blue ground, with off-white breaking through the darker passages in scattered, eroded clusters. Moss-gold and olive appear at irregular intervals between the bands, silk-knotted and rising above the wool ground. The vertical structure dominates the full field with no border and no interruption.

The bands run the full length of the rug, so foot traffic tends to fall consistently across multiple zones rather than concentrating on a single motif. Wool handles this well.
