Description

A deep charcoal-grey field carries a distributed all-over layout of octagonal medallion forms, angular botanical connectors, and stepped geometric figures in silver-grey and cool powder-blue. The motifs sit at low contrast against the dark ground, their pale outlines reading clearly only at close range. A narrow guard border in the same tonal range contains the field without interruption.

The red you see in the field is not one red. It is seven dye lots, each pulled at a slightly different hour from the same copper vat,the variation lives only in the wool, never in the recipe.
