Description

Faded denim blue carries a spacious all-over vine and floral field where ivory motifs spread with room between them. Dark burgundy accents and teal blue florals punctuate the ground at intervals, each element reading clearly against the open field. A wide ivory border holds a full secondary pattern of scrolling leaves and blooms with its own density and authority.

Madder root, soaked five days, simmered three.

The red you see in the field is not one red. It is seven dye lots, each pulled at a slightly different hour from the same copper vat,the variation lives only in the wool, never in the recipe.
