Description

Warm pale ivory holds the ground across nearly the full surface. A single large looping form in near-black charcoal sweeps from the upper field through the centre, enclosing an interior zone of eroded silver-grey and warm brown. The hi-low construction raises the silk in the dark line work and the worn central zone, so the enclosed composition sits physically above the flat ivory ground around it.
