Description

Off-white lines step inward from each corner of a mid-grey and dark charcoal blended ground, forming a large concentric chevron that points toward the field center from all four sides simultaneously. The lines sit as shallow carved channels in the pile rather than as color contrast marks. The blended fibre ground shifts between mid-grey and darker charcoal within each chevron band, so the structure reads as both geometric and tonal.

The chevron points toward the center from all corners. Does the rug have a directional orientation that affects how it should be placed?

The design is symmetrical on both axes; the chevron reads identically from all four sides. There is no correct or incorrect orientation. The rug can be placed with either long or short edge toward the primary seating without the design losing its geometric logic.

This is a predominantly dark blended fibre rug. What floor types and room conditions suit it best?

The mid-grey and charcoal ground performs well on pale hardwood, light stone, or polished concrete floors where the tonal contrast between rug and floor is strong. Rooms with abundant natural light allow the off-white chevron lines to read clearly. Dark floors reduce the contrast and flatten the design's structure.
