Description

Saturated violet-purple and deep indigo-purple spread across a pale silver-grey ground in large, cloud-like masses with no fixed edges. The close-up reveals the hi-low construction working at its most visible: silk holds the purple at full saturation and height, wool pulls the grey passages flat and cool beneath it. The contrast here is stark and immediate.

Does deeply saturated silk dye hold its color under regular indoor conditions?

Silk accepts and retains dye at high intensity and remains stable under normal indoor use. Prolonged direct sunlight is the primary risk for any dyed silk surface. Rooms with filtered or indirect natural light preserve the saturation over the long term.

What furniture and floor combinations work with a predominantly purple rug?
